Do watercolor tattoos last?
The honest answer: a watercolor tattoo lasts as well as it is built. Every tattoo softens a little over the years; pure splashes of pale color with no structure soften the fastest. Watercolor is the signature style of our resident artist Mai Zait, who paints as well as tattoos. Flowers, birds and animals are the most common subjects, from a small tiger portrait to a full back. Each design is drawn for you from your idea and reference images; in the consultation we decide together how much “paint” and how much line the piece needs so it looks fresh on the day and years later.
